| With the PCW racing chain drive kit your V-Max
engine must be completely disassembled. This is the perfect time to install a PCW
Racing big bore piston kit, camshaft and cylinder head combination. With proven
reliability and countless hours on the dyno, PCW Racing can offer a performance package
that will fit your specific needs. There are many shops that are capable of installing our chain drive and our performance engine kits. BE SURE! Ask to see some of their custom work or talk to someone that has had work done there. Safety is the most important improvement you can make to your V-Max. Below are some of the installation services we offer. They are listed in stages so you can pick the method that is right for you. |
STAGE ONE:Send us a bare frame, gas tank, empty engine cases with a completely assembled output shaft (With all the gears in place). We will modify the frame for the new chain path, install the Delrin lower chain guide, install our Basic Chain Kit in the engine and bolt up your choice of swing arm length (either the 0-2" or the 3-5" over arm) and the billet chain guard on your frame. Your newly manufactured drive line will then be installed with the billet outer support, billet motor mount insert kit and the rear suspension units. After the test fitting has been done, the components are disassembled and carefully packaged for shipment to you. You mount your own wheels, do your own paint work and reassemble your engine. Price includes: Basic Chain Drive Kit Gas Tank Mod Frame mod with Delrin Chrome Moly Swing Arm 0 - 2" or 3 - 5" ( 7\8" or 20mm moly axle) Billet Chain Guard 12 Series Shocks with chrome or black springs (specify spring rate) Frame jig labor and TIG welding work Complete detailed instruction booklet STAGE ONE TOTAL = $ 1849.00This price does not include shipping charges |
STAGE TWO:Same as above BUT with a fully assembled engine. We will take your engine apart, install the Basic Chain Drive kit, clean and inspect for wear and reassemble with fresh gaskets, o-rings, and test the drive line on our dyno. This is an ideal time for a PCW Racing piston kit because the only extra labor cost is the bore and honing. STAGE TWO TOTAL = $ 3150.00 and up**the price will vary depending upon your engine condition |
STAGE THREE:This is the whole job. Start to finish. You decide with the help of the sales office, all the possible combinations of wheels, brakes, and engine mods. You drop off a shaft drive bike and in a matter of 4 - 6 weeks pick up a new custom Chain drive bike with complete before and after dyno tests included. STAGE THREE TOTAL = $ 4,500.00 and up**This price will vary depending upon options |
