Conversion: PCW has been converting Darrell's record-holding 1570cc VMAX to CHAIN DRIVE. You can see and hear a dyno test run. Right-click on the picture to download the video file [3mb]. This motor uses a custom, 3 Step exhaust system made by John Ganey at PCW. The motor now puts out 216.3 HP (rear wheel) with 136.4 ft. lbs of torque using the FCR 41 mm carburetors that were used on the record shaft drive runs in 2004. (See the dyno chart, below). |
