We have seen a torque increase of 11% by just bolting this trick flatslide carb on the V-max with a good after-market pipe. We took a 1260cc V-Max with a Stage 7 modified stock carb and made a respectable 132.6 H.P. with 81.6 lbs. of torque at the rear wheel. While the engine was still hot and strapped to the dyno, we installed a set of PCW Keihin 39mm FCR Carbs in about an hours time with just a few hand tools. We ran a baseline test and made 143.0 H.P. with 91.7 lbs. of torque at the rear wheel.
The real thrill of these carbs is when you first ride your bike. The rush of power is incredible!
The 41mm version of these carbs are set up for 1425cc and bigger, higher compression engines. The 41mm will produce enough air and fuel flow to produce over 200 RWHP from our 1570cc long rod street engine.
